The next phase of the poker hand is called the turn, in which another community card is dealt. This starts the second betting round. To raise in this round, a player must have at least a pair of fours. To fold, a player must have no pairs and a single card that is higher than the other two cards in their hand.

In the final stage of the poker hand, called the river, a fifth community card is revealed. This starts the final betting round and any remaining players must choose whether to call, raise or fold. To raise in this round, a poker player must have at least a pair of threes or better. To fold, a poker player must have no pairs and a single high card that is higher than the other two cards.

A royal flush is a poker hand consisting of a king, queen, jack, and ace of the same suit. This is the highest hand in poker and can never be beaten by another royal flush.

A straight is a poker hand that includes five consecutive cards of the same suit. To make a straight, a player must have a ten, jack, queen, and king of the same suit. A flush is a poker hand that includes five of the same suit. To make a flush, a poker player must have a ten, king, and queen of the same suit. A full house is a poker hand that includes three of a kind and two pairs. The highest pair wins the ties. The kicker is a card that is used to break ties when more than one hand has the same rank of poker hand.
